Generations on from the end of the prequel apes continue to seek evolution in face of a dwindling mankind.
Absolutely brilliant. The prequel trilogy of Planet of the Apes is a genuine modern masterpiece in my view. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes revives all that was masterful with the symbolic, biblically inspired narrative developed in the prequel trilogy. The artistry in the creation of this digital world is insane and certainly something I do not believe we have the capacity to appreciate in this modern era of cinema. But more intense than this is the weight of substantial symbolic storytelling; somehow the concept of the Planet of the Apes resonates incredibly well with a question of the modern world's direction in moral spirit. I can't wait to see how this again is formulated in what hopefully emerges as a new trilogy as a reflection of the first. I won't then delve into the specificities of narrative in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, simply note my eagerness to see more yet again. Another masterpiece may be brewing. Tremendous.
