Teleology of Stupidity
To be stupid is to be balanced. To be moved and move in equal measures. It is merely this simple. Stupidity is humanity's greatest tool as it brings us closer to Tao. Its function is to find a way in between, for the universe of perception is composed of many great obstacles; these are known as names, lies, opinions, intentions and more. They stand steadfast on the path humanity walks. These obstacles are like rocks in the ocean. In the ocean we can float, but between rocks we can swim; and when rocks are stacked high, we may climb. These are of course options. They are stupid, and so they are of nature. But in this stupidity is also an imitation. It is easy to forget that tides need not swim and the winds need not climb. They go between effortlessly, without need or recognition of obstacles. So climb or swim, gust or flow, find your way inbetween with stupidity and I'm sure you'll end up nowhere - where you are supposed to be.
