Sense Over Will

Sense is presence. Intention is but an illusion. Sense is reception; you cannot will it. Will is a name. Perhaps it is of the unique. But even if it is, I don't know if it has a function. Will may represent, but it does not create, sense nor sensibility; these are born from the soul. In such, they flow from beyond the human form and into it. Will does not cause this. Will appears to mediate this. But though a wise man may fill a cup of water, he cannot do so without the water's assistance. And indeed, the cup which he fills is not his invention. It is then the case that, in filling a cup, a wise man allows nature to do its work, for creation to be created. The wise man may say, "But if not for me, there would be no filled cup." This is true. Will is a manifestation of the recognition that humans facilitate certain creation. However, the assertion of will is a failure to see that creation continues without it. Will is but a name. It is yet another name for causality. Humans are causal - and we may speak of this as will. But sight should not be thrown away. Causality is infinite, no part greater than the other. Human causality is equal to all other causalities. The universe is of zero sum. Let us ponder then, instead of will, on sense; on the routes causality takes through human forms rather than the naming of certain motion.
