Muddled City

Confusion sets deep int the seated cushion without a sign of comfort. The grey matter melancholy between my pulsing temples pounds to the beat of morning sky fury. Red cloud and pink rain make their attempt to embrace the jagged tooth city skyline, the jittering over and under passes, the looming buildings and reflective glass, the obtuse architecture and dock-land construction. Never complete, forever without direction, the railways weave between nowhere and somewhere similar. I’m on the way to make sense of the world, but what little sense is presented.
